Some of the biggest delays, unplanned costs, and frustration during a construction project come from surprises from the building department. Paying and waiting for plans that won’t get approved, being forced to change the scope by the city, making middle of the project revisions, and racking up change orders with a frustrated client all come down to details being missed in the planning process.

Having dealt with all of this with our own projects, we decided to add a dedicated Pre-Construction Planning Team to the process, who’s sole goal is to ensure compliance and work directly with the building department during the planning phase. This has proven to get jobs started faster by getting more accurate plans and SOW upfront, not amending after the fact.

Project Feasibility Study - Determine what can be done in regards to permitting, zoning, and FEMA requirements before investing time and money into planning a project.

Pre-Construction Planning & Compliance - Your liaison between the building department, architect, engineer, survey providers, contractors, and homeowners. We make sure everything being planned and scoped in inline with building dept. requirements to limit revisions and surprises once construction begins.

Surveys and Studies - Your project may need a series of surveys, studies, and other documents provided alongside your plan. We determine those requirements, and get them fulfilled through one of our licensed vendors.
